Qatar Academy Doha the first Eco-Schools in the Education City

It is our pleasure to congratulate the Pre-University Education and Qatar Foundation for the primary school’s obtaining of the Green Flag Award by Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), the national operator of the Eco-Schools Program in Qatar, as it became the first environment- friendly school in the Education City and the first school affiliated with Qatar Foundation to achieve it. This award reflects the great cooperative work carried out by the students, teachers, staff, and parents during the several activities and initiatives that the school launched and participated in. It is a remarkable achievement for all those involved in this project, and it is a great team effort. The Green Flag Award is an important message to our students, as we take environmental issues seriously. This is not limited to embracing slogans only, but we are also taking active steps to contribute to a greener environmental world. Winning the award also reflects the school’s success in the mission of developing “environmental awareness” among our students.
