Congratulations to Qatar Academy Doha students, who participated in competing in the World Mathematics Team Competition (WMTC). QAD students have been participating in the WMTC for the last 5 years and are looking forward to representing their school and Qatar in future WMTC events.

The competition included 2,088 students in 2021 from all over the world. 16 students from Qatar Academy Doha participated in this competition at an advanced and intermediate level, 6 students received bronze medals (with a percentage of above 30%), and 10 students received certificates of appreciation (with a percentage above 40%) for the individual round.

Despite their busy schedule, our students have committed to attending afternoon training sessions with Professor Yelma from Carnegie Mellon University and Ms.  Zeina Jawad, DP Coordinator at QAD and a member of the Organizing Committee of the World Mathematical Competition.

It is worth noting that Qatar will host the World Mathematics Team Competition in 2023, and preparations are underway.

Congratulations to our winning students, again!
